Sun is a responsible, cheerful, and lively individual. Her joy dims only when her little sister is unhappy.

Moon is shy and reserved. Little bothers her, except for her older sister Sun's tendency to be overly protective.

To soothe Moon's solitude in the newly formed darkness, Sun wove a blanket of shimmering darkness, adorned with twinkling lights, birthing the night sky”
